Description
This research award is a collaboration between Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) and AMINEF, the Fulbright Commission in Indonesia. American scholars work with Indonesian researchers at BRIN on scientific, historical, or contemporary topics concerning Indonesia, including comparative projects across countries. Projects may involve archival, field, or laboratory research, and all disciplines are considered.
Priority goes to projects connected to BRIN’s ongoing research frameworks. Scholars may also give public talks, train Indonesian research teams, strengthen research programs, and engage with BRIN or university communities. These activities support Fulbright’s goal of strengthening relationships between people in the United States and other countries through international understanding and cooperation.
