Scholars may work in any discipline, affiliating with Indonesian researchers at BRIN and pursuing projects that may involve archival, field, or laboratory research. In addition to research, awardees are encouraged to engage in public talks, mentoring, training, and activities that strengthen research programs at BRIN. The program aims to foster academic collaboration, enhance mutual understanding, and build lasting connections between U.S. and Indonesian academic communities.
