BRING IT is a Rainwater Charitable Foundation initiative, jointly funded with the Alzheimer’s Association, supporting innovative brain health and dementia research across Texas. Aging Mind Foundation also participates as a program partner. The program provides seed funding for focused pilot projects that generate preliminary data and proof-of-concept evidence, foster collaborations, and build a foundation for further research.
Projects should be achievable within 12 months and position promising ideas for next-stage research, implementation, validation, or larger-scale funding. The initiative seeks to strengthen Texas’s research ecosystem alongside the launch of DPRIT. It particularly values work leveraging Texas-based expertise, populations, institutions, healthcare systems, community organizations, datasets, infrastructure, or collaborations.
