Description
The Bronx Cultural Visions Fund is administered by the Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA), with support from the Howard Gilman Foundation. It provides project-based grants to Bronx-based emerging and mid-career performing artists, ensembles, collectives, and nonprofit arts organizations. Supported forms include dance, music, theater, performance art, and multidisciplinary performance. The work must be intended to happen live, before an audience.
Through Concept Development and Production grants, the fund aims to make a meaningful difference in artists’ careers and organizations’ development while investing in the Bronx’s performing arts community. It values cultural stewardship, innovation, new perspectives, compelling artistic voices, and work that pushes boundaries. BCA develops long-term relationships with grantees and remains engaged through the realization of funded projects.
