Description
This program supports research projects on Friedreich’s ataxia (FA) that require meaningful collaboration between investigators at a minimum of two different institutions. The initiative is designed to foster synergistic, multi-institutional, and ideally international partnerships, enabling research outcomes that could not be achieved by a single research group. Special emphasis is placed on introducing new scientists to the FA research community and on establishing international collaborations. Only one award is made each year, and proposals must convincingly demonstrate why the collaborative approach is essential and how the combined expertise will accelerate progress in FA research.
