Description
Brown University’s Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) supports interdisciplinary research, programming, and collaborative projects related to Latin America and the Caribbean. Its Amazon Initiative Grants for 2026–27 focus that support on programming and research centered on the Amazon River region through June 2027.
The initiative approaches the region as multinational, multilingual, and transtemporal, making room for work that considers connections across countries, languages, and time.
