Description
Brown University’s Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) supports interdisciplinary research, programming, and collaborative projects related to Latin America and the Caribbean. Its Caribbean Initiative Grants support Caribbean-centered research and programming through June 2027.
CLACS gives particular attention to projects that extend beyond a single island or territory, cultural or linguistic context, or historical period. Projects should align with one or more of the center’s 2025–27 themes: Climate and Conservation; Arts and Cultures; and Politics and Peripheries.
