Description
The American College of Radiology (ACR) offers this fellowship to qualified radiologists interested in medical editing, journalism, and scholarly publishing. The experience centers on the Journal of the American College of Radiology (JACR), giving the selected fellow hands-on involvement with its team, collaboration with the editor-in-chief, and a related project.
The fellowship provides a behind-the-scenes view of the work involved in publishing a medical journal and opportunities to become involved in the publication process. It includes a one-year appointment to the JACR editorial board, an invitation to the editorial retreat, and a two- to three-day visit to Elsevier in New York City.
