The Bruce J. Hillman, MD Fellowship offers radiologists the opportunity to gain in-depth experience in medical editing, journalism, and scholarly publishing. The selected fellow works closely with the editorial team of the Journal of the American College of Radiology (JACR), collaborates with the editor-in-chief, and completes a related project. The fellowship includes a one-year appointment to the JACR editorial board, participation in the editorial retreat, and a 2–3 day immersive visit to Elsevier in New York City, with all travel expenses covered by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and Elsevier. This program is designed to foster expertise in medical journalism and expose participants to the inner workings of academic publishing.
