Description
The AWG Brunton Award and Brunton Field Project Award, administered by the Association for Women Geoscientists (AWG), recognize and support advanced undergraduate and graduate students whose gender identity has been historically underrepresented in the geosciences. These awards honor students who demonstrate a strong passion for, and significant experience in, geoscience field work, aiming to advance the future of field mapping and data acquisition. The Brunton Award provides recipients with an engraved Brunton compass and AWG membership, while the Brunton Field Project Award also includes up to $1,000 to support a wide range of field-related expenses.
