Description
The Brunton Award and Brunton Field Project Award, administered by the Association for Women Geoscientists (AWG), recognize and support students whose gender identity has been historically underrepresented in the geosciences. These awards celebrate a demonstrated passion for and exceptional experience with field work, aiming to promote the future of field mapping and data acquisition. The Brunton Award provides a Brunton compass and AWG membership, while the Brunton Field Project Award additionally offers up to $1,000 to support field activities. Both awards are designed to help students further their field-based research and career goals in the geosciences.
