Description
The Building Bridges Artist Fellowship is a year-long opportunity administered by Sundance Institute within its Artist Accelerator Program. Launched in 2024, the fellowship supports artists whose work focuses on U.S. Muslim narratives. It is conducted in collaboration with the Islamic Scholarship Fund (ISF) and was developed with support from the Doris Duke Foundation.
The fellowship combines financial and creative resources with individualized mentorship and bespoke project support. Fellows also receive professional development and community-building opportunities throughout the year. The broader Artist Accelerator Program takes an artist-first approach to supporting emerging and mid-career storytellers navigating a changing independent storytelling landscape, helping artists develop their projects and grow professionally.
