    Description

The Wyoming Business Council’s Building Resilient Communities (BRC) program, formerly Business Ready Community, finances publicly owned infrastructure and community planning that help Wyoming communities remove barriers to economic growth. Projects can include water and sewer systems, roads, land, speculative buildings, business or industrial parks, and recreation or educational facilities. Planning activities can serve businesses and advance economic development.

BRC’s focus is on identifying and addressing local barriers to growth rather than funding projects that do not address such a barrier. Its project types include plans to identify and solve barriers and projects that address an existing barrier, with or without a business involved. The Council aims to use these investments to build local capacity and resilience, attract investment, support business growth, and create jobs.
