The Bullitt Prize honors and empowers early-career academics, professionals, and grassroots leaders committed to environmental protection and sustainable community development in the Pacific Northwest. The award aims to strengthen and diversify leadership within the environmental movement by recognizing individuals or collaborative groups who have demonstrated impactful leadership and are dedicated to safeguarding natural ecosystems and promoting equitable, vibrant communities. The funding is intentionally flexible, supporting the winner’s personal, academic, or project-related expenses to advance their vision for conservation or environmental justice.
