Description
The Administration for Community Living (ACL) funds Burn Injury Model System Centers to develop knowledge that improves access to evidence-based burn rehabilitation and outcomes for people with burn injuries. Research must address at least one domain in the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research’s Long Range Plan: health and function, community living and participation, or employment.
Centers must conduct site-specific and collaborative research and contribute data to the Burn Model Systems longitudinal database. The program is a discretionary grant opportunity, with five awards expected.
