Description
The Bush Foundation’s Fellowship invests in individuals who want to strengthen their capacity to lead change. It welcomes leaders from any sector, including business, government and nonprofit, who have a track record of impact, a vision for equitable, large-scale change and a clear plan for their own development. The aim is to transform a leader’s trajectory while benefiting communities in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and the 23 Native nations sharing that geography.
Each Fellow designs a development plan around the skills, experiences and connections they need to grow. Plans might include learning public policy advocacy, studying language revitalization abroad or reducing work commitments to pursue significant leadership growth. The emphasis is on learning that helps Fellows think bigger, lead more equitably and sustainably, and inspire others to join their vision.
