The Bush Prize: South Dakota, administered by the South Dakota Community Foundation in partnership with the Bush Foundation, is an annual award celebrating organizations that demonstrate a track record of creative, transformational impact within their communities. The program seeks to honor extraordinary organizations that consistently lead their communities toward innovative solutions and provides them with flexible, significant funding to continue and expand their work. The funding is intentionally unrestricted, allowing recipients to use it for building reserves, piloting new ideas, or sustaining their ongoing efforts.
