Description
This Fulbright Scholar award supports teaching or combined teaching and research in business administration at Egyptian institutions. Administered locally by the Binational Fulbright Commission in Egypt, it offers approximately two awards for one semester (four months) or two semesters (nine months). Business is identified as a highly sought field in Egypt, and applications are welcomed across specializations commonly taught at U.S. business schools.
Scholars teach undergraduate or graduate courses, advise and mentor students, consult on faculty and curriculum development, and conduct seminars and workshops. Teaching-only awards involve approximately 12 teaching hours weekly (three courses per semester); combined awards involve approximately six teaching hours weekly (two courses per semester), alongside research of the scholar’s choosing. Public talks and host-community engagement support Fulbright’s goal of strengthening U.S.–Egypt relationships and international understanding.
