Description
CAL FIRE’s Wood Products and Bioenergy Business and Workforce Development Grants aim to enhance the capacity and resilience of California’s forest-sector businesses and workforce. The program funds projects that promote sustainable forest management, expand wood product and bioenergy infrastructure, develop workforce skills, and foster innovation. Grants support both business development (e.g., wood processing, bioenergy facilities, tree nurseries) and workforce development (e.g., training programs, certificate creation), with a strong focus on climate adaptation, greenhouse gas reduction, and benefits to priority populations.
