Description
This program provides substantial capital grants to help for-profit climatetech companies invest in facilities, equipment, and commercial-scale operations, with the goal of scaling innovation or relocating to Massachusetts. The initiative targets the advancement and deployment of technologies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and address climate and energy challenges, while also driving economic growth and equitable development across the state. The program is designed to close financing gaps, foster job creation, revitalize underutilized properties, and strengthen local supply chains, all in alignment with Massachusetts’ Clean Energy and Climate Plan for 2050.
