Description
The Business Enhancement Grant is part of the Working Lands Enterprise Initiative, run by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets. It invests in businesses connected to Vermont’s farm, food, fiber, and forest-product economy. Eligible project types include new or used equipment, infrastructure development, market development, research and development, and technical skills training for staff.
Projects may, for example, plan or build infrastructure, develop branding for new markets, or test new production systems or technology. The program aims to strengthen businesses that produce, process, transport, or market products tied to Vermont’s working landscape. The Working Lands Enterprise Board makes funding decisions.
