The Business Women’s Giving Circle (BWGC) at the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia funds nonprofit organizations and schools providing innovative Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs, as well as leadership and entrepreneurship experiences, for girls and young women in Northern Virginia. Since 2014, BWGC has awarded over $660,000 to initiatives that inspire, empower, and create measurable impact for girls from preschool through college-age, with an emphasis on hands-on, curiosity-driven learning and mentorship.
