--- ## Description The C. Brian Rose AIA/DAI Exchange Fellowships are designed to foster collaboration and scholarly exchange between North American archaeologists and scholars from the Deutsches Archäologisches Institut (DAI). These fellowships support post-doctoral research in archaeology, enabling DAI-affiliated archaeologists or project collaborators to conduct research at a U.S. host institution (typically the University of Cincinnati, but other placements are possible). Fellows are expected to engage with the academic community by giving at least one lecture and participating in university life, thereby contributing to the advancement of archaeological research and international scholarly connections. --- ## Due Dates - Application deadline: November 1, 2025 - All application materials, including references and (if applicable) transcripts, must be received by this date. --- ## Funding Amount - The fellowship provides: - Travel expenses to and from the U.S. - Housing (through university residence or rental allowance) - Library privileges at the host institution - Additional stipend for living expenses - Residency must last at least two months, ideally coinciding with a fall or spring academic semester.
