    Description

The C. Brian Rose AIA/DAI Exchange Fellowships provide support for post-doctoral archaeologists and architects affiliated with, or collaborating on projects with, the Deutsches Archäologisches Institut (DAI) to conduct advanced research in the United States. The fellowship is designed to promote high-quality archaeological scholarship and foster connections between North American and DAI scholars. Fellows spend an academic semester at a U.S. host institution (such as the University of Cincinnati), where they engage in research, deliver lectures, and participate in the intellectual and social life of the institution. The program emphasizes scholarly promise, academic achievement, and the potential impact of the proposed research, with preference given to early-career professionals.
