This fellowship enables early-career, post-doctoral archaeologists from North America to conduct research at the German Archaeological Institute (DAI) in Berlin. Fellows gain access to the DAI’s extensive library, resources, and may reside at the DAI guest house. The program is designed to foster scholarly research in archaeology, promote academic exchange between North American and German scholars, and support professional development through engagement with the DAI community, including presenting a lecture during the fellowship period.
