Description
This grant provides financial support to NEA local associations for the full-time or part-time release of their local president. The aim is to build organizational capacity, strengthen leadership, and enhance member engagement and recruitment in alignment with NEA’s strategic priorities. The funding also supports professional development for local presidents and staff, fostering high-capacity local teams. The program is a shared financial commitment among the local association, state affiliate, and NEA, and is designed to help locals eventually sustain the cost of president release time independently.
