Description
This grant program provides financial assistance to NEA-affiliated local associations to support the full-time or part-time release of their local presidents from regular duties, enabling them to focus on leadership, organizing, and capacity building. The initiative aims to help local associations grow in size and strength, increase member engagement, and develop sustainable leadership practices aligned with NEA’s strategic priorities. The grant includes required professional development for presidents and assigned staff, and is structured as a partnership among the local association, state affiliate, and NEA.
