The CAA-Getty International Program, funded by Getty and administered by the College Art Association, enables art historians, museum curators, and other visual arts professionals from around the world to participate in the CAA Annual Conference. The program aims to diversify the CAA’s membership, increase international participation, and foster meaningful cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration in the visual arts. Selected participants benefit from a week of conference sessions, workshops, museum visits, and a preconference colloquium focused on international issues in art history. Alumni of the program often become ambassadors for the CAA in their home countries, sharing knowledge and building professional networks.
