The CAA-Getty International Program, supported by Getty and administered by the College Art Association (CAA), provides comprehensive support for art historians, museum curators, and visual arts professionals from around the world (excluding the US, Western Europe, Israel, and Australia) to attend the annual CAA Conference in the United States. The initiative is designed to diversify CAA membership, increase international participation, and foster global dialogue and collaboration in the visual arts. Participants engage in a preconference colloquium on international issues, followed by a week of conference sessions, workshops, museum visits, and professional development activities. Alumni frequently continue to collaborate and serve as ambassadors for CAA in their home countries.
