The CAARI/CAORC Research Fellowships, offered by the Cyprus American Archaeological Research Institute, support scholars whose research engages the archaeology, history, culture, or geography of Cyprus. They are designed for projects that would benefit significantly from a month of research on the island. Particular consideration is given to applicants whose projects enable them to include Cyprus in their teaching.
Fellows conduct their work in residence at CAARI in central Nicosia. The institute provides a library, collections, archives, and technical facilities for research on Cyprus and the eastern Mediterranean. Its location near the Cyprus Museum and the Archaeological Research Unit of the University of Cyprus places fellows close to two additional major libraries.
