Description
The Council for the Advancement of Higher Education Programs (CAHEP), through the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE), offers an annual research grant supporting scholarship on higher education graduate preparation programs. The grant advances understanding of how these programs prepare higher education scholars, practitioners, and leaders, broadly defined.
Supported topics include program organization, administration, delivery, and outcomes; pipelines into graduate programs; teaching and learning; and graduate student and faculty experiences. These experiences may include recruitment, socialization, mentorship, retention, and success. The grant aligns with CAHEP’s mission to enrich teaching and learning in higher education programs across North America and around the world, while facilitating exchange among program coordinators, directors, faculty, students, and other interested members.
