Description
The California Environmental Grassroots Fund provides small grants to emerging and community-rooted organizations across California that are working to build climate resilience and advance environmental justice. The Fund prioritizes groups serving historically marginalized or impacted communities, especially BIPOC, frontline, immigrant, and low-income populations. Supported activities include advocacy, organizing, education, restoration, litigation, and campaigns addressing issues such as environmental health, climate, habitat protection, water resources, sustainable agriculture, and pollution. The Fund is managed by the Rose Foundation and is designed to support groups typically underserved by traditional foundation funding.
