Description
The Carrie Estelle Doheny Foundation’s Campership Application provides a dedicated route for campership funding. Requests must reflect the Foundation’s Mission & Mandate and align with one or more of its four funding areas: Social Welfare, Health and Wellness, Education, and Religion. Funding is generally directed to Los Angeles County, including qualifying Los Angeles programs operated by organizations headquartered elsewhere.
The Foundation continues Carrie Estelle Doheny’s charitable work by supporting organizations that improve residents’ welfare, health, and education, alongside ministries that offer opportunities to deepen Catholic faith. Campership support sits within this broader charitable mission rather than a separate research initiative. The Foundation supports approximately 300 organizations annually; most have maintained a relationship with it for more than 10 years and are closely aligned with its mission.
