    Description

The Canada Community Security Program (CCSP) is a federal initiative administered by Public Safety Canada to help communities at risk of hate-motivated incidents or crimes enhance the security of their gathering spaces. The program supports not-for-profits, educational institutions, shelters, places of worship, community centres, office spaces, cemeteries, and child care centres in implementing a range of security measures. Eligible activities include physical security enhancements, minor renovations, planning, training, and hiring third-party security personnel. The CCSP builds on and expands the previous Security Infrastructure Program (SIP), offering greater flexibility and a higher cost-share for applicants.
