Description
The Canada Impact+ Research Training Awards at UBC are designed to attract exceptional prospective and incoming PhD students from outside Canada to pursue doctoral studies and research in priority fields. Funded by the Tri-Agencies (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC) and administered through a faculty nomination process, these awards support doctoral research in areas such as advanced digital technologies, health and biotechnology, clean technology, environmental resilience, food and water security, democratic resilience, advanced manufacturing, and defence technologies. The initiative aims to strengthen Canada's research ecosystem by bringing global talent to UBC.
