The Canada Research Training Awards Suite – Research Travel Supplements (CRTAS-RTS) provide additional, non-renewable funding to active master’s and doctoral award holders from CIHR, NSERC, or SSHRC. The supplements are intended to offset the costs of research travel either within Canada or internationally, for a defined period of 2 to 6 months. The program aims to foster research skills, creativity, and innovation among graduate students, empowering them to contribute to Canada’s research ecosystem and economy. CRTAS-RTS replaces the former CGS-MSFSS program.
