The Canada Research Training Awards Suite – Research Travel Supplements (CRTAS-RTS) provides additional financial support to active holders of Tri-Agency (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC) master’s and doctoral awards. The supplement is intended to offset the costs of research-related travel, either within Canada or internationally, that directly benefits the student's graduate research and professional development. The program aims to foster advanced research skills, creativity, and innovation among graduate students, strengthening Canada’s research ecosystem.
