Description
This Global Affairs Canada initiative funds large-scale projects that foster secure, low-carbon, and climate-resilient economies in Sub-Saharan Africa. The program emphasizes scaling proven approaches, strengthening local ownership, and delivering sustainable adaptation benefits, with a strong requirement for gender-responsive project design and implementation. The focus areas are climate change adaptation, climate-smart agriculture, and nature-based solutions. Only organizations specifically invited by Global Affairs Canada are eligible to apply, and participation is limited to those with a demonstrated record of relevant, high-value project delivery in the region.
