Description
DuPage Foundation’s Capacity Building Grant supports local nonprofit organizations in strengthening their ability to fulfill their missions now and in the future. The program funds projects that help organizations and their leaders develop the knowledge, skills, tools, abilities, and behaviors needed for effective, long-term organizational performance. Local businesses participating in the Foundation’s Community Impact Circle help support the grants.
The program focuses on donor engagement and fund development, and technology upgrades and implementation. Projects may deepen donor relationships, increase giving, improve fundraising strategies, boost organizational efficiency and productivity, or improve data security. Review emphasizes current organizational needs, expected return on investment, realistic implementation plans, board support, and internal capacity to carry out the work.
