Key Information: Applicants must have operated for at least one full year; direct service program implementation is not funded.
Description
Central Carolina Community Foundation’s Capacity Building Grants invest in the internal capacity of organizations in its 11-county Midlands region. The program supports work that improves organizational effectiveness and long-term sustainability, rather than direct services to a service population.
Projects may address strategic or executive succession planning, board development, collaboration or mergers, budget forecasting, crisis and disaster planning, technology, or governance. Other supported work includes culture and belonging efforts, branding and web redesign, evaluation and data organization, and benefits and compensation planning. Grant funds are often used to hire a consultant.
