Description
This grant funds international partnerships aimed at building capacity in higher education institutions (HEIs) and systems in Latin America. The program targets the modernization, quality improvement, and responsiveness of HEIs to socio-economic and global challenges. Supported activities align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Paris Agreement, and broader EU external policy objectives, including the Global Gateway initiative.
Projects may address environmental sustainability, digital transformation, social inclusion, governance, and economic development. The action is structured into three strands:
- Strand 1: Fostering access for less experienced HEIs and disadvantaged groups.
- Strand 2: Supporting transformative partnerships for innovation and reform.
- Strand 3: Enabling structural reforms at national or regional levels, aligned with Erasmus+ Global Gateway priorities.
Eligible activities include enhancing institutional management, developing innovative curricula and teaching methods, promoting inclusion and accessibility, strengthening academia-industry links, and supporting systemic reforms for coherent, inclusive, and sustainable higher education systems.
