Description
Connecticut Humanities Capacity Grants are designed to strengthen Connecticut organizations that present and interpret the humanities to the public. These grants encourage strategic thinking, deeper audience insights, and improved stewardship of resources and operations. Funding supports a range of capacity-building activities, including consultant-led initiatives, board and staff training, strategic planning, marketing and audience assessments, IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility) work, digitization, object preservation, and technology upgrades. The goal is to help organizations plan for a more sustainable and financially secure future, amplifying the impact of their humanities programming.
