Capital and Equipment Grants support transportation providers and community-serving organizations buying vehicles and devices for shared mobility, improving access for under-resourced communities.

Description
The Oregon Department of Transportation’s Innovative Mobility Program offers these federal, reimbursement-based grants for purchases that support microtransit or flexible shuttle services and shared micromobility. Eligible purchases include vehicles and related equipment for shuttle services, and devices and related equipment for shared micromobility. The grants do not fund service operations.
The program is a one-time initiative to improve under-resourced communities’ access to public and active transportation, reduce drive-alone trips, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Applicants must show how their projects benefit under-resourced communities and support the program’s climate goals. ODOT will select projects through a competitive review.
