Description
This opportunity supports major capital projects—such as construction or significant technology purchases—that fall outside of an organization’s regular operating budget. The Carrie Estelle Doheny Foundation’s capital grants are highly selective, rarely awarded, and only available to organizations with a long-standing relationship with the Foundation. Requests for capital funding must be clearly aligned with one of the Foundation’s four focus areas: Social Welfare, Health and Wellness, Education, or Religion. Funding is restricted to projects serving Los Angeles County and does not support endowments, general fundraising campaigns, or organizations without a strong history of engagement with the Foundation.
