Description
Akron Community Foundation's Capital Grants program provides funding every other year to support capital improvements for Summit County, Ohio nonprofits. The grants are aimed at enhancing facilities, infrastructure, and essential equipment to help organizations deliver quality programming and address community needs. Priority is given to projects that align with strategic focus areas such as arts and culture, civic affairs, health and human services, and education, as well as those identified through community needs assessments. Emphasis is also placed on projects addressing safety, serving historically marginalized communities, sustainable development, and demonstrating community involvement in planning.
