Description
The AATS Foundation’s Cardiac Surgical Resident Investigator Award supports cardiac surgical residents and general surgery residents pursuing specified cardiothoracic training pathways. Residents conduct cardiac research in the laboratory of an established cardiac surgical investigator, working directly with a senior cardiac surgeon who directs the project and serves as their research mentor.
