This scholarship funds early and mid-career cardiothoracic (CT) surgeons, residents, fellows, and trainees to obtain formal education and training in biomedical ethics at leading North American ethics centers. The goal is to prepare future leaders in CT surgical ethics, integrating ethics education into the specialty and supporting recipients' engagement with ethics-related activities within CT surgery organizations. The award is intended to foster the development and flourishing of ethics education and leadership among CT surgeons.
