Description
Care and Assistance Grants from the Biochemical Society are designed to help members cover additional care-related or accessibility costs incurred when participating in Society-organized scientific meetings or training events. These grants address a wide range of support needs—including expenses for carers, companions, childcare, medical or respite care, or the production of accessibility materials—so that members with extra responsibilities or accessibility requirements can fully engage in professional development opportunities. Each application is assessed individually to accommodate personal circumstances, with the aim of making Society events as inclusive as possible.
