The Skin of Color Society (SOCS) Career Development Award provides up to $100,000 in project support over two years for research focused on inflammatory dermatologic diseases affecting individuals with skin of color. The award is intended to foster the next generation of leaders in dermatology by supporting innovative clinical, translational, and basic research in areas where knowledge gaps exist. Recipients are expected to present their research at the SOCS annual meeting and contribute findings to the Society’s newsletter, advancing dermatologic care and knowledge for skin of color populations.
