Description
The American Society for Microbiology (ASM) offers this grant to enhance the careers of postdoctoral women with outstanding scientific accomplishments. It supports travel to a meeting, visits to another laboratory, and participation in a course or event that develops research and/or leadership skills.
The program connects professional development experiences to applicants’ research and career goals. Applicants explain how their proposed activity addresses gaps in their development, builds connections, and improves their skills and knowledge of their scientific area. For applicants proposing to attend ASM Microbe, the application must explain why the experience would advance their goals at their current career stage.
