Description
This award is designed to foster the careers of early-career faculty conducting clinical, outcomes, or educational research in digestive diseases. It provides resources for research infrastructure, access to large datasets, formal training, and partial salary support to ensure protected research time. Recipients are expected to present progress at the SSAT Annual Meeting and submit manuscripts to the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery.
