Description
The Caregivers ACT Attendance Travel Grant is designed to reduce financial barriers for members of the Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP) who have caregiving responsibilities and wish to attend the in-person Annual Conference on Teaching (ACT). The grant provides $500 to help cover costs directly related to caregiving, such as transportation or accommodations for a care provider, or caregiving fees incurred during the conference or at home. The program encourages applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and from underrepresented groups, in line with STP's mission and equity commitments. Recipients are required to submit a brief report after the conference describing how the funds supported their participation.
