Description
Established in 2000 within the Wyoming Community Foundation, the Carol McMurry Library Endowment supports publicly accessible Wyoming libraries and the people who work or volunteer in them. Presented by the Wyoming State Library, it funds education and training, library resources, and library foundation development. The Endowment encourages projects involving multiple libraries.
Library grants can support in-service workshops, group continuing education, resource purchases, and outside technical assistance for foundation planning. Individual grants support continuing education, with the highest priority given to courses leading to a library-related degree or certification. Awards are for future activities, not reimbursement of past or already-started projects.
