Description
The Caroline and Martin Gross Fellowship, administered by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation, honors extraordinary public service and nurtures the next generation of public servants. It enables one individual working in New Hampshire government each year to attend the three-week, in-person Senior Executives in State and Local Government seminar at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
The fellowship seeks candidates who want to enhance public decision-making in New Hampshire and can benefit from intensive leadership education. The seminar combines classroom discussion, real-life case studies, and hands-on learning, addressing negotiation, collaboration, policy design, and strategic management. Established after Caroline Gross’s death in 1993, the fellowship later added Martin Gross’s name to honor both public servants’ legacies.
