Description
The Carolyn E. Reed Traveling Fellowship Award enables a woman cardiothoracic surgeon or a woman resident in her final year of cardiothoracic surgery residency to travel to another institution for up to one year. The fellowship is designed to facilitate the learning of new technology, foster collaboration between surgical investigators, and promote the transfer of innovation back to the recipient’s home institution. The award honors Dr. Carolyn E.
