Description
This award provides financial support to cover data file access costs for researchers conducting institutionally funded and analyzed projects using the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) National Database Participant User File (PUF). The goal is to reduce financial barriers for innovative research in cardiothoracic surgery by enabling access to de-identified patient-level data. The award is intended for projects with an approved STS PUF application, specifically to facilitate research that advances the field of cardiothoracic surgical science. Indirect, fringe, or other expenditures are not supported.
